This bodhran made by Paul features and features a shaded black/red rim hence the extra fee for time spent perfecting this lovely finish. This particular bodhran has been fitted with an excellent medium weight skin and will play-in exceptionally well. The Glenarm 15" with 5" Rim is the most popular of all our tuneables. The rim can be finished with a variety of stains although the ebony stain would be our most popular.
All tuneables come with a tuning key - hand turned handle and one standard beater. All bodhrans are made and prefected by Paul. He spends a lot of time on each bodhran and wants to produce the perfect bodhran for each player.
When placing an order please confirm via separate email if you want a bar fitted - otherwise your order will be completed "without a bar"
Quality of skin ie light weight, medium weight or heavy weight skins can be requested. Again the rim colour can be negotiated with Paul but basically there are 3 different colours, - ebony, medium oak and mahony - the most popular being the ebony.
